Hey there, hi there Anna! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. I'm happy to assist a fellow Mouseketeer today.
Hot dog! Your magical vacation is just around the corner, and I'm glad you're making plans to share a meal with Mickey Mouse and friends. I have two little ones, and catching a glimpse of their favorite Disney friends is something we must mouseke-do on all of our trips.
At this time, all character dining in Walt Disney World is modified; you won't get any hugs or autographs from Donald Duck or his pals, but you will be able to interact with them from your table and snap some socially distant pictures. My family and I dined at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and Cinderella's Royal Table during our summer vacation, and we had a blast at both locations. Here are all of the places where you can currently enjoy a meal with character.
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I had dinner here last spring and was delighted with the entertainment from Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang. Their outfits are adorable and the location just steps away from the Magic Kingdom Park is convenient to families wishing to have breakfast on their way in or dinner on their way out.
Cinderella's Royal Table. This meal features an incredible prix fixe menu and a visit from Cinderella herself. The dining room inside the castle is gorgeous, and her royal highness graces Guests with her presence several times during the seating.
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT. You'll enjoy family-style dishes (made with ingredients from the Land pavilion!) while Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip, and Dale prance around the rotating dining room.
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Donald Ducks is the host of this meal, which serves family-style favorites and exotic fare, in an immersive African market-inspired setting.
Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Celebrate breakfast with Disney Junior Stars or enjoy lunch and dinner with Minnie and friends at seasonal dining parties. The seasonal meals here are epic, and in November, you'll catch Minnie Mouse dressed in her holiday finest.
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. This is my favorite character meal in Walt Disney World. Set atop Disney's Riviera Resort, the menu is fantastic, the characters adorable, and the view majestic. It's a tough reservation to score, but if you can manage it, it's not to be missed.
I hope something on this list is appealing, Anna. All of the above meals are popular, so I recommend snagging a reservation if you can, and if not, joining the
Mobile Walk-Up Wait List on the day of your visit. My family used this recently to dine at the Garden Grill Restaurant. Best wishes for a memorable (and delicious!) vacation, and we'll see ya real soon!
