Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you have a trip planned to
Disney's Vero Beach Resort on the horizon. It's one of my favorite
Disney Vacation Club Resorts and one we have been to many times. Down there all of the fish are happy, and I am too when I am immersed in the magic of Disney at the beach because it's like two vacations in one!
Jennifer, at this time, Character Dining has not yet returned to the Resort. We don't have a date for its return, but you can enjoy delicious dining at
Wind & Waves Grill and the
Wind & Waves Market are available. While there isn't a set schedule, you could possibly see Characters walking by at the Resort as well. After all, they're on vacation too!
But, while Character Dining isn't presently taking place, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, as this is where the latest Disney news will be reported first. In the meantime, just keep swimming and enjoy all the other activities at the Resort. These include the Campfire, Port Holes Mini Golf, Sports, Games, and Activities, the Community Hall, swimming in the Mickey-shaped pool with the Sandcastle Waterslide, Tiger Lily Water Play Area, and more.
Wanderin' free, I wish I could be, part of that world with you, Jennifer. But I'll just be on land walking around on my - what do you call them? Oh yes, feet!
