Hey there, hi there, Esmeralda! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled that you stopped by to ask us a question.
The fall is one of my favorite times to visit the parks! It looks like you are planning to visit right after
Halloween Time has ended and right before the
Holidays officially kick off at Disneyland Resort. The earliest
advanced dining reservations open up will be 60 days in advance. Sometimes, certain locations take a little extra time for their reservations to open up, so I always advise that if you don't see something, just keep checking. What's really great about the reservation system is that once you put in your date and party size, etc, you can filter the results to only show "Character Dining".
If you come up empty on the reservation you were hoping for, my biggest piece of advice is to be diligent in checking in the day or two before the date you were hoping for. Guests tend to overbook in their planning, and plans change. While most reservations you can cancel in as little as 2 hours before. However, for special dining, like character dining, there is a 1-day cancellation policy. You can check dining availability easily in the
Disneyland app as well. I've had some great luck grabbing last-minute reservations this way!
Esmeralda, thanks so much for your question. We will be here if you have any other questions leading up to your visit!
