With a character dining reservation at Chef Mickey's, would a 10:20 or an 11:20 be better for a family with 3 young boys? I know the meal ends at 11:30 and we are afraid we might be rushed or have cold food. Please help us decide. Thank you

    Hi Jessica!
Chef Mickey's Fun Time Buffet in the Contemporary Resort is a totally awesome Character Meal and experience. My son and I ate there for breakfast for the first time in August 2009 and we absolutely loved it!  A big part of this Character Dining Experience is the interaction with the Fab Five Disney Characters who come around to your table to interact with you.  You really do not want to rush this one on one interaction with the characters and your children, so I would recommend choosing the earlier 10:20 am time slot.  If you spend your time eating slowly you may get to see the characters more than once during your meal and you can call your meal a Brunch instead of a Breakfast.

I forgot to mention that the food is great with a huge variety of breakfast foods for both kids and adults alike!  Don't let your kids miss the Gummy Worms that they can put on their cereal (my son's favorite).  Also bring your autograph books and camera to get those magical signatures and character photos during your Breakfast!

I hope that you have a magical character dining experience at Chef Mickey's on your next trip to Walt Disney World!
