Hello! Is character dining still an option with Covid and if so what is the best restaurants? And will the characters be out at magic kingdom to see?

If munching on melon while Mickey meanders in the dining room is what makes your heart all pitter-pattery, Jessica, you’re in luck. Character meals are indeed taking place currently, though they do look slightly different than what you may have experienced in the past.

Rather than visiting individual tables, Mickey and/or his pals stroll through the restaurant, engaging with Guests from a safe distance and posing in the background of selfies. Character meals are taking place at select restaurants, including:
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera
    Garden Grill Restaurant
    Hollywood & Vine
    Chef Mickey's

I’m partial to dinner at The Garden Grill Restaurant or breakfast Topolino’s Terrace -- Flavors of the Riviera. Both are excellent choices.

You also will be able to see characters out and about at Magic Kingdom. Keep your eyes and ears alert for the sounds of fun that echo along the parade route as the unscheduled Character Cavalcades take place. You may also happen upon a random Character sighting. You might see them waving from the castle, frolicking around a grassy area or just strolling by at a distance. You never know when or where they might pop up so be on the lookout.

Wishing you a magical trip, Jessica!
