How many character dining meals should a family do? We are coming to Disney Nov 16-23 (myself, 6yo and 5yo - both boys) and I have us scheduled to do 6 different character dining experiences. Is that too much? This is our first trip.

    Hi Amber!

I just love going to character meals in Walt Disney World and my son does too!  If your boys  love interacting with characters then six character meals will not be too much.  Just keep in mind that even if they are buffets, each character meal will take between 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours at a minimum to finish so you will have to plan that into your day (sometimes it is a long time for younger children to keep busy without being bored).  How much that you interact with the characters is up to you as well so if your children are shy or are tired of seeing the characters, then you can just eat your meal and get back to fun in the parks.  Please ask us Moms and Dads more questions as you are planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!

I hope that your first Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
