Are there any character dining experiences geared toward boys? My daughter loved the Cinderella Table last time we went. I would like my son to have the same kind of experience this time. He is not into Winnie the Pooh or Princesses. Thanks

Hi Kimberly! There are many great Character Dining options that your son would enjoy. I understand how the princesses can take over the plans and how you will want to make something special for the young man of the family.

He might love the Mickey's Backyard Barbecue held outdoors but under cover at the Fort Wilderness Resort. Here your son will enjoy a live country band where he can sing and dance with his favorite characters such as Mickey Mouse and Goofy and will also get a live show from a cowboy showing how to do rope tricks. It is a lively and fun filled who with a great western barbecue buffet. Please note that this show is not held during the colder months in Florida so please check the schedule and availability.

Other favorite character meal experiences of course include Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort, Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom park, and Cape May Character Breakfast at the Beach Club Resort. All of these will include some of the major Disney characters who will be available for meet and greets at your table. Look through the options and choose the one you think your son will enjoy the most.
