Hey there, Moira! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's always fun to help out a fellow Disney-lover from the Keystone state!
Moira,
Character Dining is always on my family's "must-do" list for each and every visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth and you bring up a great question about ensuring your favorite friends will be in attendance.
First I will say that
booking a breakfast is always a safe bet minus two exceptions:
Be Our Guest Restaurant, where the Beast is available at dinner only and
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White where reservations are only available beginning at 4:00 PM.
There are a number of restaurants that host a breakfast with Characters but then during lunch and/or dinner change over to a different dining experience (
without characters). These include
'Ohana,
Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera,
Cape May Cafe, and
Trattoria al Forno. Moira, it's also important to note that each of these Character breakfasts can be found at a different Disney Resort Hotel.
If you are looking for an option where you can find characters any time of the day, check out
The Crystal Palace and
Cinderella's Royal Table (both at Magic Kingdom Park),
Garden Grill Restaurant and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (both at EPCOT),
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom,
Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
If you're interested in Hollywood & Vine or 1900 Park Fare, make sure to decide which set of characters you want to see before booking. The breakfast option at Hollywood & Vine allows you to meet Disney Junior characters like Vampirina whereas lunch and dinner is hosted by Minnie Mouse! At 1900 Park Fare you'll find Mary Poppins and friends at breakfast while Cinderella and her step-sisters entertain at dinner.
Moira, wherever you choose to dine, I hope you have a vacation that is delectable down to the last bite. Wishing you a wonderful stay! Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have,
Lauren
