    All character dining experiences are completely booked for the length of our WDW stay. Is it possible to be placed on a standby list for a cancellation?

    Hi Clarissa,

    I'm sorry to hear about the lack of availability for character dining during your vacation. WDW Dining does not keep waiting lists so I would suggest that you continue to check back for availability especially as your vacation dates get closer. Also, I would suggest checking for a reservation once you are at WDW since sometimes families need to cancel their trips (or just their dining reservations) at the last minute. It's worth a try.

    I want to assure you that seeing characters via a dining experience is not your only option to mingle with the wonderful Disney characters. There are greetings available all day long in each park. On your way into the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot or Hollywood Studios, pick up a Times Guide which will list Character Greeting opportunities.
