We want to have a character dining experience. We have 2 children ages 7 and (she will be 1 month shy of 4). When is the best time and where would you recommend? Our daughter LOVES the Mickey gang and princesses our son is a "go with the flow." T

    Hi Elizabeth!

My "go to" restaurant for a character meal with Mickey and his friends is Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort.  It is an all you care to eat restaurant and has a wide variety of delicious food to choose from including a kids section with favorites like mac n cheese and chicken strips.  Yum!  You can see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.  This restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.

We dined at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot for my daughter's 2nd birthday last year and loved it!  It's a great way to see the beautiful Princesses while having a taste of Norwegian fare.  We had lunch here, which was wonderful, less expensive and easier to snag a reservation for.

My favorite character breakfast is 'Ohana in the Polynesian Resort.  You can see Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Lilo and Stitch all dressed in their Aloha threads.  It is also an all you care to eat restaurant, but the food is brought to your table.  Sounds perfect for your 'go with the flow" boy!

You can't go wrong with any dining experience you choose.

    Have a magical day!
