    Howdy Dolores!

    Welcome back!  It's always a pleasure to help out a returning Guest.  I hope you're having a supercalifragilistic time planning your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World.  If you are anything like me, you enjoy planning for your trip almost as much as you love the actual vacation itself.  

    While there is no Character Dining locations at Downtown Disney, there are a couple of restaurants with really fun themes that are sure to delight everyone in your traveling party.   The two restaurants my family enjoys are Rainforest Cafe and T-REX.     T-REX offers traditional American fare set in a very Jurassic setting.  Larger than life dinosaurs can be found throughout the restaurant where meteor showers take place nearly every 20 minutes. It's really an "explosive" place to have a meal.  Rainforest Cafe is themed after a tropical rainforest and houses plenty of animated animals to keep you company as you enjoy your meal.  This is dining location has become a favorite of my family and we visit on the first night of each of our vacations.  Be sure to save room for the Journey's End Sparkling Volcano dessert it's so yummy and large enough to share.
