    We have character dining at Contemporary Resort (7:40am), although we are not staying in Disney, but driving in. I'm assuming we can park at the Contemporary Resort for the dining. Can we remain parked there, and go to Magic Kingdom via Monorail?

    Hi Michael!  You certainly will be allowed to come to the Contemporary Resort to attend the Chef Mickey character breakfast.  You will be checked at the front security gate and it is always a good idea to have your dining reservation number with you in case your name isn't on the master list.  The Contemporary Resort has gotten very strict over the last few years due to abuse by day guest and other resort guests wishing to park there and head to Magic Kingdom.  I think the parking spots were so used by these people that the resort guests themselves had trouble finding a place to put their car.  You will be given a three hour pass to park at the resort but after that time you will risk having your car towed. I know that isn't very magical but you have to understand the problems if too many guests would do this.  You can have the family walk or take the monorail around while you head back and park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot. This takes a bit of time but it is better then having your car towed while you are enjoying the day at the Magic Kingdom!
