Welcome to planDisney, Veronica! Thank you so much for bringing your question our way.
Currently, there is not a welcome phone call program available. This past April, a Disney Bedtime Hotline was rolled out for a limited time where parents could call for children to receive a special nighttime greeting from some of their favorite Disney friends. While there is no phone call program currently available, stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog to see if anything new is announced.
There are so many fun activities on the Disney Parks Blog your children would love, which can be an excellent way to bring some early Disney magic their way! The
Disney Paper Parks series gives you fun printable Disney-Inspired designs you can print out, decorate, and assemble. There are also many fun and delicious recipes on the Disney Parks Blog. My family had so much fun making (and eating!) these
Mickey Mouse-shaped Beignets.
There are so many other fun ways you can still surprise your children with a Walt Disney World Resort Visit. One popular idea is to have a scavenger hunt! I have created this little poem just for your family. Print out the poem and cut out each line individually. Write numbers on the back of each line, wrap them in fun boxes or any other fun container, and then hide them all over the house! Once the kids find them all, they can put them in order and lay them out to read their surprise poem. I am not sure of their ages, but they will still have fun looking for the clues and having them read to them if they are younger. You can change the character names to their favorites if you would like!
It's time for magic and time for fun,
Time to play together in the sun!
We will see a princess and even a castle,
With a bit of pixie dust and a dash of dazzle!
Fantasyland we will discover with glee,
Soaring over the land and dancing under the sea!
We will see the land of Woody and Buzz,
And play just like a happy toy does.
We will travel to a galaxy far, far away,
And save the day - it will all be OK!
We will even see Mickey Mouse, our dear friend!
Maybe also Pluto or Goofy - the fun will never end!
It's all been confirmed with a magic wand twirl;
We are soon heading off to Walt Disney World!
Have a magical day, Veronica!
