Hello there, Krista! Thank you for ringing up planDisney with this fun question.
I love your idea, and maybe one day this will be available for
Walt Disney World Resort Guests. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy make
character calls to Guests before sailing with Disney Cruise Line. While Mickey has one job as Captain aboard the Disney ships, at Walt Disney World, he is cooking at
Chef Mickey's; leading an orchestra in
Fantasmic!; and greeting Guests in the
Town Square Theater. He's a very busy guy!
Luckily, Mickey Mouse has given me ideas to assist him in sharing the magic. He loves the help! My kids cheer when any "Mickey Mail" arrives. I've helped him send a card to share how excited he is to welcome them to the Most Magical Place on Earth. He's been known to ask me to pick up a Disney-themed balloon when I am at the store to surprise my kids. And he gave me the idea to create a countdown calendar so he knows just how long he has to wait to see them. When it comes to building excitement, Mickey's my pal!
Once you are in your room at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, he has the
Disney Magical Companion to pick up the fun. With a simple "Hey Disney," you can open a whole world of character interactions, like wake-up calls, trivia and jokes. With a simple request, you can have a lot of laughs and Disney magic.
While there are so many ways to have the characters share in your Walt Disney World vacation, I would also highly recommend booking a
Disney Cruise Line adventure. There is so much to do aboard the ship, the character call is just the start.

See 'Ya Real Soon!
