Hey Emily, welcome back to planDisney!
We visited Walt Disney World with our baby, and trust me, they’re never too young to soak up the magic!
Toppolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort is a fantastic choice - you’ll love it.
When we dined out at Walt Disney World, the Cast Members were usually fine with us leaving the buggy by the table if our little one was sleeping. I recommend to ask about it when you check in for your reservation. While I can't promise anything, Cast Members always try their best to make things work.
A few other things I learned visiting from the U.K. with my youngest Mouseketeer. This is a perfect age for air travel as they’re just happy to be with you!
The
Baby Care Centers in each park are little havens, especially the one in Magic Kingdom Park. They are perfect if you or your baby need a break with spacious changing stations (I noticed the Cast Members cleaning them after each use) and feeding areas with rocking chairs. You can pick up essentials there, but since things like milk and nappies are a bit different in the U.S., you might want to bring enough from home. If you just need a quick change, all the bathrooms have baby-changing areas like you’d find in a public loo.
For accessible rides, a baby sling was a lifesaver in the queues and sometimes on the ride itself. If you are ready to jump back into the fun,
Rider Switch is awesome, as no one has to miss out. We also found taking a break each afternoon, either back at the hotel or at a table-service restaurant, helped everyone recharge.
Your little one will be enchanted by the sights and sounds of Walt Disney World! Take ALL the pictures you can and soak in every moment because it’s wild how much and how quickly they grow between each trip.
Have the most magical time with your little one, Emily! I wish I could do it all over again!
Disney wishes,
Louise
