Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We have a character breakfast scheduled at 7:10 am, the Chef Mickey breakfast at Contemporary Resort. We are staying at Port Orleans-Riverside. What time should we leave our resort? Since it is so early will the bus services have started running?

    Hello, Kimberly! Welcome to the Moms Panel! The Walt Disney World Transportation System (buses) begin running between 6:30-6:45 a.m. for this very reason. Just head on down to your bus stop and look for a bus whose marquee may read one of the following: "CHARACTER", "SPECIAL", or "DINING". At least, these are the ones I have seen. Just let your driver know where you are headed and you will be on your way. If you are still unsure about transportation so early in the morning, ask your Cast Member upon check-in.
