We have a 10:00am character breakfast reservation @ O'hana's. MK opens at 8:00am and I was wondering if we would have time to visit MK for maybe an hour of so before our breakfast reservations? Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi Dana!

Ohana is a wonderful place to start the perfect Disney Day!  Most of my pals on the panel agree that it has the best scrambled eggs in all of Disney!

As for whether you'll have some time to hang out at Magic Kingdom before your reservation, it's possible, but I'm not sure that it would be worth it.  The folks at Disney Dining recommend that you arrive at the podium about 15 minutes before your reservation so that you can be seated as close as possible to your "slot".  To get to Ohana from the Magic Kingdom, you'll need to hop on the resort monorail and head to the Polynesian.  In order to allow time to wait for the monorail and travel, I'd say you have to leave the Magic Kingdom by a little (five after) after 9am at the latest.

If the park opens at 8am, by the time you get through the gates, you'll have less than an hour.  If you were thinking of targeting one ride or some shops, it's a doable, but you might feel rushed.  There are some great shops at the Polynesian and an arcade that my boys love to hang out in before heading up to Ohana.  This is another option for you to consider before you head up.

Have a great breakfast with Lilo and Stich!
