Hi Kendra,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question about
Character Dining at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm excited to help you plan your practically perfect princess party!
It has been so lovely to see the return of more Character Dining options recently, and one that has always been a favorite of mine is
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall located in World Showcase at EPCOT. This location has breakfast as one of its offerings, but also lunch and dinner too. When you arrive for dining, typically your family will first meet Belle and have an opportunity for a photograph before being seated in this medieval castle for the meal. During your meal, more princesses will come to your table while you dine. You never know which ones will be visiting but I have met Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, and Ariel there while dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Princesses Anna and Elsa are not at this location, but they are very close by and are greeting Guests at
Royal Sommerhus. If you want to stop by and say hello after you have finished your meal, I am sure they will be delighted to see you!
Another great location for a princess breakfast is at
Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom. Although I haven't experienced breakfast in this location, I have enjoyed lunch and dinner and can tell you that this is an experience indeed! Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table means you will be dining inside the iconic
Cinderella Castle. Guests will first meet Cinderella in the Grand Hall and be able to take a photo with her before being escorted upstairs for dining. After Cinderella has greeted all her Guests, she will come upstairs to be in attendance. Usually, 2 or 3 of her princess friends will also join her in visiting Guests while they dine. Most commonly I have seen Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, and Snow White in this location.
Kendra, I hope this information helps you with your upcoming plans. You should know that for any table-service meal, advanced dining reservations are highly encouraged and this is especially true for Character Dining. Currently, dining reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit. If you are a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will be able to make reservations 60 days in advance of your check-in date for the duration of your trip, up to 10 days. This is a huge benefit when seeking out highly sought after reservations! Whenever I want to make reservations for character dining, I make sure to put a reminder on my phone so that I don't miss out.
Have a Magical vacation and please come back and visit us here at
