If we have a character breakfast at the Polynesian, which is a quicker park to get back and forth from, the Magic Kingdom or Epcot?

    Hi Lenore,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Breakfast at the Polynesian is a terrific way to start any Walt Disney World day.

You can get to both Magic Kingdom and Epcot easily from the Polynesian resort, though Magic Kingdom is much closer. The park sits just across Seven Seas Lagoon from the resort, which has a view of Cinderella Castle.

The monorail connects the Polynesian with front entrance of Magic Kingdom. You can catch the monorail at the Great Ceremonial Hall, just steps from 'Ohana, site of the Best Friends with Lilo & Stitch character breakfast. Magic Kingdom is the second stop. The ride will take you less than 10 minutes.

To reach Epcot by monorail, you can walk through the resort to the Transportation and Ticket Center and catch the express monorail to Epcot there. That entire trip will take you more like 30 to 40 minutes, depending on whether you have to wait for the monorail to arrive.

My family stayed at the Polynesian for the first time last fall and loved the convenience of monorail transportation to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
