Hiya, Meghan! Welcome to
planDisney. Your trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner. I’m sure you’re excited, and you’re right to be. Southern California in June is lovely. Those cool, overcast mornings are perfect for rope-dropping the parks and hitting the attractions!
Minnie & Friends - Breakfast at the Park at the
Plaza Inn is a great way to start your day! Getting a tableside visit from your favorite
characters and a delicious meal? Nothing could be better. To answer your question, it all really depends on which ticket you purchased. If you purchased a
one-park ticket for Disneyland, then you’ll only have access to that park for the day. If you purchased a
park-hopper ticket, you can visit
Disney California Adventure after you finish your breakfast. In fact, the rule requiring guests to wait until 11:00 a.m. to park hop is being lifted on June 9th, so you can head straight to California Adventure when you’re ready.
Maghan, the summer is when Disneyland Resort really comes alive. Even though you’re arriving on a weekday, all of the nighttime spectaculars are running, including
Fantasmic!,
Paint the Night,
Wondrous Journeys, and
World of Color Happiness! As you can tell from my comment on the weather, I encourage you to attempt the mother of all Disney days - rope drop to fireworks! You can do it. I believe in you. Check out the
Hours & Events Calendar to see all of the scheduled shows and entertainment.
However you decide to tackle your day, I hope it’s a magical one. Disneyland Resort is such a special place, and I hope its magic is as enchanting for you as it is for me. If you have more questions, we’ve got you. Visit us again at
planDisney for all your planning questions.
I hope you have a magical day!
