Can we have a character breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian resort without park tickets and can you ride the monorail for free afterwards? Thanks Susan

Aloha, Susan! Sending you warm island greetings to chilly Canada from the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a wonderful idea to spend a magical day exploring one of Walt Disney World’s most iconic and beautiful Resort hotels. From the exotic architecture to the sweet aromas, you’ll fall in love with Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Susan, ‘ohana means no one gets left behind or forgotten, so rest assured everyone is welcome to discover Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. You don't need a Theme Park ticket to visit, so you’re free to experience incredible dining like ‘Ohana. This is where you'll find the Best Friends Breakfast, where you can meet Lilo and Stitch, along with other Disney pals, while enjoying breakfast staples with a delicious island flair.

After fueling up on a hearty breakfast, you’re welcome to hop aboard the monorail and explore the other Resort hotels along Disney’s “highway in the sky.” It’s completely free and, again, no Park ticket required, although you will go through a quick security check before boarding at each Resort hotel.

Susan, you’ll want to book reservations in advance for the popular Best Friends Breakfast. You can do that online through your My Disney Experience account, or by calling Disney Dining.

I hope this helps you plan a magical Disney day, Susan. Please come see us again if you have any other questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
