    Which character breakfast is better? Chef Mickey or cape May cafe?

    Hi Derryl! 

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Well, the answer to your question depends on who you ask ;) There are many who are on Team Chef Mickey's and many who are on Team Cape May Cafe. I'll tell you that I am a fan of both!

    I would probably choose the one that was closest to my resort. Cape May Cafe is at Disney's Beach Club resort and in the Epcot area. Chef Mickey's is located at Disney's Contemporary resort and is a short walk or monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom.

    Both restaurants have classic Disney Characters. At Chef Mickey's, the characters are dressed in chef outfits and at Cape May Cafe, they are dressed in beach attire. They are also both buffets, so there is plenty of food selection and variety for everyone. 

    I would say Cape May Buffet is more of a laid back atmosphere. Chef Mickey's is very popular and busy due its location. It is number one on my kids' list though! My final advice would be to choose the theme you think you and your family would enjoy most, and go with it! Let's be honest, with Mickey waffles at both locations, you can't go wrong!     Have a magical vacation and don't worry about second or third helpings! Disney calories don't count.
