Are changing rooms available at the waterparks in Florida? We will be arriving and going straight there and hoping to change there after arriving and before departing to not ride in wet suits to the hotel! Thanks so much!

Hiya, Amber! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for swimming over to share your splash-tastic water park question with us!

Visiting a Walt Disney World water park on your arrival is the best way to kick off your visit, and I know from experience. After a long day in airports, I love being able to take advantage of the Water Park Benefit for Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests and float down a lazy river to get myself into vacation mode.

I'm happy to report that there are changing room facilities at both water parks. They are located near Singapore Sal’s at Typhoon Lagoon, and they can be found near Beach Haus at Blizzard Beach. Both facilities are conveniently located near locker rental areas, so you can safely store any items you don’t want to carry with you. You can find a map of both water parks here

As you put the finishing touches on the itinerary for your quickly approaching vacation, let me make a few recommendations for both water parks. Along with the lazy rivers, don’t miss out on Miss Adventure Falls and the Surf Pool at Typhoon Lagoon, which my kids could have spent all day at. At Blizzard Beach, be sure to check out the Toboggan Racers and, if you’re feeling brave, Summit Plummet.

I hope you have a fantastic day at the water parks and a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World, Amber. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
