We're changing resorts mid stay. I know luggage will be transferred, but what about guests? We need to check in before going to a park for the day to get our free dining. Any suggestions?

    Hi Sara!

Yes, when you stay at two different Walt Disney World Resorts in the same trip, you can have your luggage transferred by Disney. Disney will transfer your luggage from the first resort that you are staying at to the next one for free. Just take your luggage to bell services the morning that you check out of your first resort and give them your name and the name of the Walt Disney World Resort where you are transferring to.  Yes, you will have to get to your second Walt Disney World Resort to check in before you can get your Disney Dining Plan Credits.   You do have a few options to get yourselves to the second Resort.  You can take a Disney Bus to the nearest theme park (if they are open) and then transfer to the Resort bus that is going to the second Walt Disney World Resort that you are staying at.  If you want to save time, then you may want to take a taxi directly to your second Resort from your first Resort (this way does cost money). Typically a one way taxi fare for anywhere on Walt Disney World Property is less than $20.00 including tip.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
