Hi Bernie,
Hey there, hi there, ho there, Bernie! Thanks for coming to see us at planDisney, where we always enjoy sharing tips from our own Walt Disney World Resort vacations.
It sounds like you booked a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation package that includes your Resort hotel accommodations with the
Disney Resorts Collection and
theme park tickets.
Let me share the current Terms and Conditions for vacation package cancellation and refunds. I always recommend taking a look at the Terms and Conditions that are displayed during the booking process. It's a great way to help with planning.
When you look at the current Terms and Conditions for vacation package cancellations, you'll see that they point out three time periods.
If you cancel your vacation package 30 days or more before your arrival, you can be refunded the amount that you paid. The refund would exclude any cancellation fees from third-parties and would exclude costs that are non-refundable like travel protection plans.
If you cancel your vacation package between 2 and 29 days before your arrival, you can be refunded the amount that you paid, and a $200 cancellation fee would be deducted from the refund, which would again exclude cancellation fees from third-parties and costs that are non-refundable.
If you cancel your vacation package 1 day or less before your arrival, or in the event that you do not show for your reservation, the full price of the vacation package would be non-refundable.
My suggestion is to call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) 939-7675 to talk through the Terms and Conditions specific to your vacation package to help you best plan and prepare for your trip.
I also suggest staying in the know with
updates on the Walt Disney World Resort to help you get ready to visit.
Bernie, here's wishing you lots of fun for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
