Do I have to make any changes to the tickets if I changed a reservation date by 1 day?

Hey, howdy, hey, Jose, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for mozying on over for a question about tickets and reservations.

I see there are two options here for your question. The first option relates to tickets connected with a Disney Vacation Package. Tickets associated with a vacation package begin on your arrival day and must follow the package. So if you move your package start date then the earliest first use of your ticket will be on the new arrival date. Please contact a Disney Cast Member at 407-WDISNEY or your Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to make the changes. Changes to vacation packages may be subject to change fees.

The second option is that you purchased Theme Park Tickets for specific dates and now need to move the tickets to a different date. If that is the case then use the My Disney Experience Mobile app to change the date. Please note that in the event the new date is a ticket of greater value you will need to pay the difference. Tickets that are changed to a less expensive date will not be refunded the difference. Here is how to change your ticket on the app but before you do anything make sure a Theme Park Reservation is available for your new date.

    1. After opening the My Disney Experience Mobile app, go to the hamburger (≡) on the lower right and tap it.
    2. On the next screen select "Tickets and Passes."
    3. Scroll to the ticket you want to modify and select "Change Ticket."
    4. Select "Valid Ticket Dates" to bring up your Theme Park options and then choose the new start date for your adventure.
    5. Immediately make your Theme Park Reservation so you get the parks you want on the days you want.

Please note: Your tickets may be modified up to midnight Eastern Standard Time before the first use date.

planDisney Pro Tip: If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel then you can do Online Check-In. This will allow you to skip the front desk and go right to your room when your room is ready.

Jose, I am happy to answer more of your questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
