Hi Moms, with all of the changes to the ticket structure, can a base ticket still be upgraded to an annual pass as long as the ticket is within the valid window. Thanks!

    Hi Erin!

Great question!  The flexibility of having a Walt Disney World annual pass is fantastic and the perks are even better.  Room, merchandise and food discounts plus complimentary parking and PhotoPass downloads (except for the Silver Pass) are huge bonuses for my family.  You can compare the different types of annual passes in advance to find out which one best suits your family.

To answer your question, yes, you can upgrade your tickets to annual passes as long as you upgrade them before the final day on the ticket is used, on the final day of your tickets before the park closes or before the tickets expire.  You can do this at any Guest Services or ticket booth located throughout Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
