Welcome to planDisney, Haylee!
I hope you’re getting excited to visit The Happiest Place on Earth next year! It’s going to be here before you know it so be sure to get your Minnie Ears and your sense of adventure ready to go!
You‘ll be happy to know that
Rider Switch Service is alive and well at the Disneyland Resort! Both Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park have Rider Switch Service available! (Check out the
full list of participating attractions here!)
Here’s how to utilize this service, Haylee:
-Upon arriving to your attraction, approach the Cast Member at the front of the attraction with your entire group.
-Divide into 2 parties (Party 1 includes those riding the attraction first, and Party 2 is the non-riders and their supervisors.
-The supervising Guests in Party 2 (which can have a max of 3 people) will have their tickets scanned and will wait while Party 1 enters the standby line to experience the attraction.
-When Party 1 gets out of the attraction, they’ll then supervise the non-riding Guests.
-The Guests of Party 2 then return to the attraction’s entrance to have their tickets scanned by a Cast Member to use their Rider Switch entitlement.
-Party 2 then enters the attraction’s return line and will board without waiting in the regular queue.
If you have additional questions before your trip, Haylee, we’d love to hear from you again at
planDisney!
Have a
zip-a-dee-doo-dah day! Allyn
