Any changes on being able to bring backpacks, snacks, water, etc. ? I’ve heard only clear bags allowed but did not see anything on the website with this restriction.

Hey there, hi there, Sally! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be.

We appreciate your patience as we answer questions these days; there are so many Guests excited to return to a land of magic! I do have good news for you, Sally. At this time, there have been no changes to the Disneyland Resort rules in terms of what you can bring into the theme parks. As long as your gEAR doesn't appear on the list of prohibited items, you are good to go! My Disney Loungefly bag is packed and ready for fun as soon as it's my turn to visit the Happiest Place on Earth!

During the reopening period, your best news sources are going to be the Disney Parks Blog, Disney Parks accounts on social media, and the Experience Updates page. There's so much going on these days, and I find it best to stick to the official sites for the most accurate information.

I hope this is helpful as you continue to plan for your magical return to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
