It's a BOOtiful day, JoAnne!Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to help as you plan your visit to the Disneyland Resort during a special time. I'm planning to be there around that same time myself, and I can't wait to see all the spooky-fun decorations alongside the wonderful 70th anniversary celebration. As you've mentioned, the official start to Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort this year is August 22, 2025. I can't guarantee that Halloween decorations will be on display before then. However, in recent years, I along with other Guests have noticed significant portions of the parks being adorned with Fall-themed and Halloween-themed décor as early as a week or more before the official beginning of the season. Though I can't say for sure, I think there's a relatively good chance you'll start to see signs of the turn of the seasons during your visit. That may also depend on how many days you have planned for your experience at The Happiest/Spookiest Place on Earth.Since the Disneyland Resort's 70th anniversary celebration runs through 2026, the Disneyland Resort has been careful to make sure that the milestone anniversary and Halloween Time can both be enjoyed at the same time. While some of the 70th anniversary décor will be temporarily replaced with Halloween-specific decorations, most of the 70th anniversary offerings will continue to be available. If you were to extend your stay into the Halloween season, you would still be able to enjoy the beautiful World of Color Happiness! nighttime spectacular at Disney California Adventure Park and the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the facade of "it's a small world" in Disneyland Park. The special MagicBand+ interaction locations throughout Disneyland park will continue to offer fun and interactive experiences unique to the anniversary. And, of course, the amazing Paint the Night Parade will continue to run through Halloween Time before stepping aside to make room for the endearing "A Christmas Fantasy Parade" during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. My family and I visited the Disneyland Resort just last week and noticed that some Halloween merchandise was already available too. So I'd say that there's a great chance you'll have the opportunity to experience some spooky-season fun. Some things, like special Halloween food options, likely won't be seen before the 22nd. I guess that means you'll just have to enjoy more of the amazing treats available to celebrate the 70th anniversary.I hope you have a magical time, JoAnne!~Tony
