Since they changed the website, is there still a place where you can view the "countdown" to see how many days until your next vacation?

    Hi Vicki!

It looks like you've noticed the recent updates to the Walt Disney World website.  I really dig the new way it's laid out.

From the looks of your question, it appears that we're a lot alike.  Having a countdown to my next Walt Disney World vacation helps me get through the day.  In addition to the calendar countdown I have on my computer, my wife has a special blackboard in our kitchen that's devoted to our Disney vacation countdown.  (My daughter loves it!)

With respect to the countdown feature on the Walt Disney World website, you're in luck because they still have it!  You can find it in the "My Disney Experience" section of the site (on the far right-hand side of the menu bar).  Once you have your vacation linked to your My Disney Experience profile, it will have a countdown for you on the main screen.

If you haven't used the My Disney Experience tool yet, I think you'll really like it.  In addition to the countdown feature, you can also use it to organize the details of your vacation itinerary, dining reservations, and PhotoPass pictures.  Plus, there's a mobile version of My Disney Experience for your smartphone that will give you access to additional planning tools while you're on vacation.

I hope that helps and I hope you're able to get the countdown all setup so you can watch the days fly by.  Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it!
