I changed my reservation from Caribbean Beach to Pop Century which stated I had a "hotel credit" for the price difference. How can these credits be used, and if they're not used, does this credit get refunded after check-out?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

Oh, my. A visit to Walt Disney World is a truly magical experience, but arriving with a hotel credit? That's my dream come true!

Basically, a hotel credit acts like a balance on the account you've set up for charging purposes. Grabbing that delectable, iconic Mickey Premium Bar? Charge it to your room using your MagicBand. Dining at a Table Service or Quick Service restaurant? Same. Picking up that perfect souvenir at Disney Springs? Again, use that MagicBand to pay for your purchase.

All of those MagicBand charges will go onto your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room account. Because you'll have a credit on that account, your associated credit card will not be charged until your credit has been depleted. If, for some reason, you do not charge enough to use up that credit, the remaining amount will go back onto the form of payment you used at check in. Think of it as a little savings account that you can tap for anything you may need while visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth!
