Hiya Debbie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I'm so excited you have decided to plan a
Walt Disney World trip for this upcoming October. The Halloween season is one of the most fun times to visit, especially with
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party returning to the Magic Kingdom this year. There is no better place to be than walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with a sweet treat in hand taking in the festive décor, which includes fall foliage and Mickey-shaped pumpkins!
With the
Disney Park Pass System in place, Guests are required to make reservations to the first park they plan to visit each day. It seems like you were able to make and change your park reservations successfully using your
My Disney Experience account. One thing to note about changing your park reservations is that you need to cancel your original one first before making a reservation for the new park you want to visit. There is no option to modify using the current system.
It appears you are receiving conflicting information when logging on to your My Disney Experience account. Since your "Future Plans" are displaying the correct park information, I have a good feeling that the change was made correctly and your new selections are accounted for. It may be that there are some technical difficulties with either your account or the app itself. If you just recently made this change, I would give it some time to correct itself. I would consider closing out the app and reopening it, or signing out of your web browser and signing back in. It may just need to reboot to display correctly in each section of your My Disney Experience account.
Your best bet will be to
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. I had some technical difficulties recently and they were able to correct everything on my account in a matter of moments.
Debbie, I hope you have an amazing time during your upcoming stay!
See ya real soon!
