I changed the date for our visit, I received a new confirmation number, but did not get another barcode. Do I need a new barcode, and how may I get that?

    Hi Larry,

Thanks for coming to see us at planDisney, and thanks for your question. It's great to hear that you're still planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.

While you don't mention the details of the vacation plans you changed -- whether it was a vacation package with Resort hotel reservation and theme park tickets, or a room-only reservation -- I'm going to take a guess that you're referring to the barcode on your Disney Ticket Order Confirmation.

If your Resort hotel reservation and theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account and if they are displaying as expected, then you should be all set to enjoy your magical stay. If you aren't seeing your theme park tickets as expected, my suggestion is to give a call to the Walt Disney World Resort ticketing team at (407) 566-4985.

You can quickly and easily check to see if everything looks in order when you sign in to your My Disney Experience  account and go to the "My Plans" menu item. This will show you your "Plans and Tickets" page. Under your "Daily Itinerary" tab, you should expect to see your Resort hotel reservation information with check in and check out details. Under your "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab, you should expect to see all your theme park tickets and the details for the Guests in your party to whom the tickets are assigned.

You can also review your plans and tickets information with the easy-to-use My Disney Experience mobile app. The information will display on the home screen of the app.

In addition to reviewing your Resort hotel reservation and your theme park tickets, you'll want to be sure that you have made theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. Your Disney Park Passes will also display in your "My Plans" information. Guests will need both a valid theme park admission and a valid theme park reservation for each day they visit a theme park.

Larry, as you look forward to visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog to stay in the know about all that's new and exciting. It's a great way to keep up to date and make plans to enjoy your trip.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
