Hello Nicolas,
Welcome to planDisney. I am so very glad that you found us. Disneyland and Walt Disney World are both magical places, and they have a lot in common. Classics like Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and "it's a small world" bring nostalgia to both parks. Exciting thrills like Soarin' and Splash Mountain delight visiting Guests. And the new must-do attraction for both coasts is
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. There are so many similarities, and that makes your question a great one!
Though there are countless ways that make these parks a similar experience, they are still two very different vacation locations. You have the Happiest Place on Earth and the Most Magical Place on Earth. Each place requires its own ticket, and unfortunately, they are not interchangeable. I understand this may be a bit of a disappointment. Both Disneyland and Walt Disney World tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. But the good news about your tickets is that changes can often be made! I recommend viewing the current
Disneyland policy to determine how to plan for your unused tickets. It is important to keep in mind that
theme park reservations are required for entry at this time.
Nicolas, if you decide on a trip to both parks in the future, you can
purchase tickets to Walt Disney World online. After purchasing I highly recommend creating a
My Disney Experience account to streamline all your travel plans. This will give you access to creating theme park reservations, convenient
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, and your personal guide to all things magical,
Disney Genie. I hope that you are able to have an adventure in The Most Magical Place on Earth in the near future.
The World's Most Magical Celebration is happening across all four theme parks. The beauty and uniqueness of this 50th-anniversary celebration will make the trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We hope to see you at Disneyland and Walt Disney World real soon!
Tammy
