Hello there Angie! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Sounds like you're getting ready for a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and I'm happy to help get you on your way.
Currently, to visit Disneyland Resort you'll need both a valid
theme park ticket, as well as a
theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit. Although it is a good idea to not delay in making those park reservations, as they are subject to availability and may run out on certain days of the year, I've found there's usually quite a bit of flexibility with reservation dates. In fact, I just checked the
reservation calendar and, as of today, both parks are available every single day from tomorrow until early-July for reservations.
Your theme park ticket is usually valid one to two years after the purchase date, and if you need to change your reservation date that's no problem! It's easy to do at the
My Plans hub on the Disneyland website. Select "Theme Park Reservations" and follow the prompts to select your dates.
If your ticket dates have already passed, I would speak with a Cast Member by calling the
Guest Information line.
You're visiting Disneyland Resort at a really great time of year, Angie, especially if you're a Star Wars fan! Beginning March 28 (and continuing through May 11), you'll be able to experience
Season of the Force. My son and I had tears streaming down our faces, in a good way, zipping through the galaxy on
Hyperspace Mountain.
Keep an eye on the
Daily Events Schedule, beginning six weeks prior to your visit, for details on parades and other entertainment offerings during your visit. Show dates and times are subject to change, all the way up until the day of your visit, so make sure to check in often. There's always something special happening at the Disneyland Resort - that's what keeps me and my family going back again and again!
I hope you have the most magical visit, Angie. If any other questions come up in your planning, don't hesitate to
reach out again. I'm happy to help!
See ya real soon,
McCayla
