June from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How do I change my tickets to another day? Can I change from Magic Kingdom to Epcot?

Hey Howdy Hey June and welcome to planDisney!

Jane looks like you are counting down to your Magical vacation within the next few weeks, how exciting! Thank you so much for your question about changing the dates of your tickets. You can change the dates of your tickets, but the bigger concern would be with Theme Park Reservations. Let's jump in and get this done!

Before you do anything, I would make sure you check out availability with the Theme Park Availability tool. As long as you see availability for EPCOT, then you are clear to move to step two which is changing your Theme Park Reservation.

With Theme Park Reservations, unfortunately, you cannot just change the dates on the one you have. You will have to cancel the one you have and then book the replacement which would be for EPCOT. You should be able to cancel your reservation for Magic Kingdom through your My Disney Experience account. Under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section, select the date and the Theme Park Reservation with the "View Details" button on the right. You should see a blue hyperlink for "Cancel Reservation". Onto step three.

Next, you will make the Theme Park Reservation for EPCOT. At the top of your My Disney Experience screen, you should see several icons. Usually, the one second from the right is the Park Reservations. Highlight this and you should see an option to "Make Theme Park Reservation". Follow the prompts and you should ALMOST be set.

Depending on which day of your trip you change your reservation for, you might have to go in and modify the date range of your tickets. So say you currently start your trip on a Tuesday at Magic Kingdom but are going to change for a Monday at EPCOT, you would need to change the start date of the ticket. You can get this done on your My Disney Experience account as well. Under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section you should see a blue heading titled "Tickets & Memory Maker". Here you should see all of your tickets and a blue hyperlink to "Change Tickets". If you click on that you should see options to change the tickets for your whole party. Next screen you will be able to change the date of your tickets.

Hopefully, this all works out as easy as it sounds and you can change the dates of your reservations. Just make sure you can confirm availability for EPCOT before you cancel Magic Kingdom. Good luck with the changes and the final weeks of preparation for your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any further questions feel free to reach out, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
