We would like to change our tickets from California adventures to Disneyland. How can we do that?

Hi there, Gem! Welcome to planDisney! Just a few more weeks until you are fully immersed in wonder and magic ... can you believe it?! Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and all of your favorites are ready to greet you with open arms ... literally! Character greetings are BACK, so shimmy up to Goofy and get in there for a fist-bump, autograph, high-five, or a good old, fashioned hug! I swear those character hugs have some healing powers and after the last two years, don't we all need a little Mickey-sized squeeze?

Ok, I could go on about the hugs, but I'm sure you're eager to get your logistics all settled for your trip! It sounds like you have One Park Per Day tickets with a reservation for Disney California Adventure Park. I hope I'm on the right track! I think it's easier to think of the reservation as separate from the theme park ticket. It can be canceled and rescheduled, so you can switch days or parks as long as there are reservations available. As Lightning McQueen would say, KACHOW!

To switch your reservation, you would simply need to cancel the existing reservation and make a new one for Disneyland Park. I'll walk you through that process in a bit, but I always recommend taking a peek at the theme park reservation calendar to be sure that there is availability on your new date before making any changes. There are times when reservations can be tight as many Guests are eager to get back to the parks, especially since the nighttime spectaculars are lighting up those nights once again! It currently looks like June 22nd has availability, so I would go ahead and get your reservations settled for Disneyland Park so you can focus on the fun and magic you'll be creating that day!

Let's walk through how to make that change:
    1. Navigate to the "Parks and Tickets" tab on the website and select "Tickets and Reservation Details" from the drop-down menu. You can also get to this page within the Disneyland Mobile App by tapping the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and selecting "Make a Park Reservation".
    2. Tap "View My Park Reservations" and then scroll down until you see the date you would like to change.
    3. Select "Cancel Reservation" and follow the prompts until you hit the "Done" button. You will be redirected back to the first page where you can begin the process again to make a new reservation, this time selecting Disneyland Park.
Gem, I hope this helps in making those changes! Remember when I mentioned nighttime spectaculars? Well, if you are spending the evening at Disneyland Park, you will have so much to choose from! Fantasmic! returns May 28th and Disneyland Forever fireworks and the Main Street Electrical Parade are already igniting the nights at the Happiest Place on Earth! Be sure to check the Entertainment Schedule ahead of time to plan out any must-sees. And don't forget to grab a fun snack. The experience is definitely more magical with a snack!
