Hi Mary, welcome to planDisney!
Within the past few weeks, Walt Disney World Resort has updated its
face coverings policy, shifted three
Individual Lightning Lane attractions to the
Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction list through August 7, and debuted several new styles of Minnie ears at various retail stores throughout Disney property. It seems like the only thing constant these days is change, so changes to your Walt Disney Resort vacation are more than understandable.
If you'd like to change the date of your
theme park tickets, Mary, you'll first want to confirm that there is
theme park reservation availability for your new park dates. Once that's confirmed, log into your My Disney Experience account and access the
"My Plans" page. Scroll down and click the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab. Select the ticket you'd like to modify and select "Change Ticket." Then select "Valid Ticket Dates" and select the first day of use for your ticket.
You can make changes to your tickets before midnight EST the day
before your ticket's first valid use date. There is no charge to change dates unless you select new dates with higher ticket prices. If you had previously scheduled park pass reservations, those will cancel themselves in two days. I recommend making new
park pass reservations as soon as your new ticket dates are set to ensure theme park availability.
If you'd like to modify your theme park tickets to include the
Park Hopper Option or
Disney Genie+ service option, these tasks can also be accomplished online via the "Change Ticket" directions listed above.
Despite a slight change in plans, Mickey looks forward to welcoming you soon at
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Please don't hesitate to
reach out with any follow-up questions or new questions as you continue the planning process.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
