Hi there, Kennedy! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're planning for a holiday visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Theme park reservations can be canceled and rescheduled, subject to availability. To change your reservation, just head into the
Disneyland Mobile App and log into your account. Select "Future Plans" from the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and you will see a list of your upcoming plans, including theme park reservations. Scroll to the date you'd like to change, tap in and you should see the option to "Cancel Reservation". If you follow the prompts from there, you will confirm the cancellation and then you will be able to start the process anew to make a new reservation! I recommend double-checking the
theme park reservation calendar to ensure that your new date is available before making any changes. While it may seem like a process, I promise it will be done before you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
If a date is unavailable to you, it's either fully at capacity or it requires a ticket in a
higher tier than the one you are holding. In the first instance, I encourage you to keep checking the calendar as it updates live as other Guests make and change their reservations ... so you may see some openings as you get closer to your date! When it comes to your ticket Tier, single-day tickets are priced based on the day of the week and time of year where Tier 0 includes the most block-out dates and Tier 6 is for busier times like holiday weeks and includes the least number of block-out dates. Your ticket tier should be visible when you pull up your ticket in the mobile app, or you can double-check the email confirmation you received at the time of purchase. Upgrading to a higher tier is an option with just a quick visit to the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. It looks like you may be local to the parks. In this case, I would try to head over in advance of your hopeful park day to make the upgrade and confirm your theme park reservation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to
Guest Services!
Kennedy, I hope this was helpful! While you're enjoying all the merriness of the season, be sure to take a few moments to soak it all in. My favorite spot to do this is in the lobby of
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Grab something sweet from the
Holiday Treat Cart, stroll around the giant gingerbread replica, sit by the fire, and let the magic settle in around you. The Mickey Gingerbread cookies also make great stocking stuffers! I love this spot any day of the year, but there's just something extra special during the holidays.
If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
