Can I change my ticket purchased for Magical Kingdom to another park like Epcot?

    Howdy, Jeff! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m so excited to hear you have purchased tickets to visit Walt Disney World! You are one step closer to the vacation of a lifetime! You must be getting so excited; I know I would be! Have you heard about some of the new and exciting things you'll get to enjoy on your upcoming visit? Walt Disney World is famous for its fabulous entertainment. They have truly outdone themselves with the incredible new nighttime spectaculars, Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious at EPCOT. I promise these shows will absolutely blow you away. I mean, fireworks to the tune of classic Disney music, what a fabulous combination! Make sure to keep an eye on your My Disney Experience app for each evening's times so you don't miss out on these incredible shows!

Jeff, it sounds like you have purchased your theme park tickets AND secured your Park Pass Reservation. As a reminder, a reservation is required for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you have added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. So, if you have secured a Park Pass Reservation for Magic Kingdom but want to visit a different park instead, we will need to cancel your reservation and make a new one. I’d be more than happy to show you how to take care of this!

But, before you do anything, I recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the other park you are looking to visit is still available. I would hate for you to cancel your reservation and not be able to get another one, so it’s always best to check first!

Once confirmed, you can cancel your existing reservation by logging into your My Disney Experience account from the Walt Disney World website. Then, hover over the My Disney Experience logo in the upper right corner and select “My Plans” from the drop-down menu. From there, scroll down, select the theme park reservation you want to cancel, and click “Cancel Reservation.” Finally, you can follow the prompts to complete the cancellation.

Next, it’s time to make your new reservation! To do this, click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar and click on “Make a Park Reservation.” From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open. You can then select the members of your party, the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve. Follow the prompts, and you are all set!

I am sure you will have an absolutely wonderful time with your family on your upcoming vacation, Jeff. There is so much that is new, exciting and maybe even a little unfamiliar at Walt Disney World, so please feel free to revisit us if you have any other questions!

    See you real soon!
