Hi- I would like to change my ticket from a one day ticket to the three day california resident ticket. How can I go about doing that?

Greetings to you Carrie from CA from another Carrie from CA! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled you've stopped by!

I love to hear that you are wanting to spend even more time at Disneyland Resort and hoping to upgrade your ticket. The California Resident Ticket Offers are such a great deal and I don't blame you for wanting to change your ticket. As long as your ticket is wholly unused and exchange would be an upgrade you should be able to do this. Ticket upgrades are generally done at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth located in the Esplanade between the two park entrances. Please note though that when you do upgrade your ticket you will lose your current theme park ticket reservation and will need to make new reservations for your new ticket. So keep this in mind if you are upgrading the same day you wish to visit and make sure to ask and confirm that there are still reservations available for that day. Since you are visiting soon, I recommend reaching out to Ticket Services if you have any other questions about upgrading.

Once you upgrade you now have 3 Disney days to plan. If you plan on breaking this up into different trips, I highly suggest thinking about a visit in September. Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort will be happening and it's one of my favorite seasons in the parks between the limited-time food offerings, attraction overlays, and entertainment. I'm sure you will have a ghoulish time!

Carrie, thanks so much for dropping by. We hope you have a wonderful visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
