If I change the start date for my wdw tickets, will I lose my existing reservations. I want to start ticket one day earlier. We are booked for MK on new years eve and I can't risk losing it

Hello Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on getting a Walt Disney World Resort theme park reservation for New Year’s Eve! I know you are ready to make memories on that day that will last a lifetime.

This one is a bit tricky, but I was able to make contact to get the answer to your question. Your theme park reservation will remain intact as long as the number of days on your ticket covers the reserved date and the new start date. For example, you have a three-day theme park ticket, and you are due to start on a Wednesday, and you reserved Hollywood Studios that Thursday. If you decide that your ticket will begin on Tuesday, your theme park reservation on Thursday will still stand. So as long as your theme park reservation falls within those new ticket days, you will be fine.

If you would like real-time assistance with getting your new dates changed, I recommend calling (407)934-7639 and speaking with a Cast Member who can assist you with making the change to your existing tickets.
