Hey Pamela! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for visiting us! I see you’re planning to visit Walt Disney World later this fall! How wonderful! You’re absolutely correct in that you will need to make Park Pass Reservations in advance of your trip and that you will need valid Theme Park Passes linked to your My Disney Experience account to do so!
If you have
Theme Park Tickets already linked to your account that is unused and not yet expired, you should be able to make this change right on the website. Beneath the Tickets you need to modify, you’ll find a hyperlink labeled “Change Ticket.” Once you click there, you will be able to change the start date of your Tickets at any point up until midnight ET on the night before your Ticket’s first use date. If your Tickets are fully unused but expired, the original value paid can be applied to the purchase of future Tickets by
contacting Disney Reservations via phone. Ticket changes are subject to availability and may be subject to additional fees on certain dates, but these fees are available right from the Disney World website and are often minimal.
Pamela, I hope that this information helps you continue to make plans for your next Disney vacation! I hope you enjoy the transition to the
holidays at the Most Magical Place on Earth, but you will be there just in time to see it! If we can help in any additional ways, please come back and see us!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
