Can I change the start date of my Disney tickets if I have a package booked? How do I do this?

Hey Howdy Hey Jill and welcome to planDisney!

I feel one of the best things about a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is the flexibility. If your plans change or you want to do things a little differently on a day, you can easily change things around with your My Disney Experience account. Changing the dates to use your tickets should be a quick and easy thing to do so let's discuss!

The first thing you should do is log onto your My Disney Experience account. Once you are logged on, follow these steps:
    • Go to the "My Plans" section
    • Scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section
    • At the top of this section, look for the blue heading titled "My Tickets & Memory Maker"
    • Click on the tickets you want to change and follow the prompts for a new date.
You should be taken through the process like you are buying the tickets again, which you are not, but if you do change the tickets to a more expensive day, you might see an extra charge for this change.

For some reason, if this does not work, you can always ring Disney at 0800 16 90 730 and a Cast Member will be more than happy to help make these changes. Make sure before you make any changes that the days you want to change to still have park availability as well. This process should also prompt you to make Park Reservations, but if not, just know this will be an extra step to do so which is super easy on the Disney Park Pass site.

Good luck with the changes and let us know if you have any further questions!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
