Has there been a change in restaurants that participate in the dining plans? We made our reservations for Feb 2020 at 180 days out and now I am noticing that they will not be participating come 2020.

    Hi, there!

Stacey, I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this February. I bet you're already counting down the days!

I'm also excited to hear you'll be taking advantage of one of Disney's dining plans. A dining plan is sure to add lots of convenience and flexibility to your vacation! There are well over 100 dining locations in and out of theme parks that accept dining plan entitlements, which means you have LOTS of incredible options. I can totally understand why you would be concerned that some of the restaurants you've booked are not participating in 2020 dining plans, but there's no need to worry! Restaurants oftentimes do not commit to dining plan participation until closer to the new year. This is especially true of many restaurants in World Showcase at Epcot. That said, it's certainly possible that a particular restaurant may choose to not participate in dining plans, but I think you'll find that the restaurants you've made reservations for will be accepting dining plan entitlements in 2020. My best advice is to check for updated information the closer you are to your arrival date. To view 2020 participation information, you can visit a specific restaurant's webpage on the Walt Disney World Resort website or use the "Dining Plans Accepted" filter on the Dining page

Your February visit is the perfect time to experience the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. This celebration of the visual, culinary, and performing arts is not to be missed! Did you know you can use your Snack entitlements for many of the delicious treats available at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts? YUM!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stacey. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
