How do we change resorts during a WDW visit? Without a rental car, can we have our bags transferred? What should we do with any high value items, like a laptop? Wondering how much time delay/stress a move might cause to stay at deluxe resort 2-3 nights...

    Hi Charles!

It is not really a hassle to move to a different Walt Disney World Resort during your vacation. I have done this very thing over twenty times and it is quick and easy. Disney will transfer your luggage from the first resort that you are staying at to the next one for free. Just take your luggage to bell services the morning that you check out of your first resort and give them your name and the name of the Walt Disney World Resort where you are transferring to. You can have all your luggage transferred while you go to a Park with only a backpack or small bag and then check into your second Resort after check in time. I would recommend that you take any high value items with you (such as a laptop).  After you check in to the second resort you can pick up your luggage at that Resort's Bell Services or have them deliver it to your room. You do not have to wait until after 3:00 pm to do this. You can have Disney transfer your bags anytime on the day of check out from the first Walt DIsney World Resort. Keep in mind that it will take at least 3 to 6 hours for your bags to be transferred to the next Walt Disney World Resort so make sure that you have what you need for the day with you in a bag or backpack.

I hope that you have an amazing Walt Disney World vacation and a comfy stay in two great Walt Disney World Resorts!
