    If I would like to change my resort for my upcoming trip but the promo package code I booked under has expired - will they still honor that discount now if I make a switch - since I booked and paid under that code? Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Rebecca,

    Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to your question.  If the Disney resort to which you'd like to switch has availability and was participating in the original promotion you booked, I'm sure the Cast Members at the Disney travel office will do everything in their power to make the change you desire.  However, not all resorts participate in every offer and sometimes the limited number of rooms attached to a particular promotion sell out.  Therefore, you should prepare yourself for the possibility that the change you wish to make may not be possible.  I would do some thinking before you call Disney (or the travel agent through whom you booked your package) to determine whether it is more important to switch to your new resort choice or keep the original promotion.  Then you'll know what path to take if you are forced to choose.  I will keep my fingers crossed, however, that you will be able to use the original promotion on your preferred resort.
