Hey there, Dawn! Welcome to planDisney! I am so happy to help you with this great question.
It is always a bummer when plans change, especially when you are looking forward to a visit to
Disneyland Resort, but here is the good news. Yes, you can absolutely modify your
theme park reservation as many times as you need to, all the way up to the ticket’s expiration date. For the California Resident Ticket, that date is May 21, 2026. As long as there is an available reservation for the day you want to visit, you can easily make the change right in the
Disneyland Mobile app.
To modify your park reservation, first log in to the Disneyland app with your Disney Account information. Tap the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the screen and choose Make a Park Reservation, then tap Make or Modify a Park Reservation. This will take you to the Disneyland Resort website. Under My Theme Park Reservation, scroll to Upcoming Reservation, choose the one you want to change, and tap Modify Reservation to look for availability on your new date.
Dawn, there is one important thing to remember. With a California Resident Ticket, changes must be made by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time the night before your visit. Once that deadline has passed, you will need to wait until the original reservation day ends before selecting a new date. Think of it as the clock striking midnight, only instead of a pumpkin, you just get a short pause before the magic is ready again.
I hope this helps and brings a little clarity to your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have more questions while planning, please stop back by. We are always happy to help and share a little pixie dust along the way.
