Hey there, Dan. A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question. I've definitely been in the same boat where I've needed to change the date of my visit and I'm happy to help walk you through how to do this.
Plans often change and when they do, I love the flexibility there is with Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. To change your theme park reservation, you will need to cancel your existing reservation and then book a new one for your new date. Before you do this, make sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your new visit date is open for reservations.
Once you've confirmed your new date is available, you will log into your Disney account at the Disneyland site and then navigate to "Ticket and Reservation Details" located under the heading "My Disneyland" on the far right of the toolbar. Next, select "Make Park Reservations" (which will bring up any existing reservations) and then click "Cancel Reservation." Once the cancelation is confirmed, you can now
book your new reservation for your new date. That's all there is to it - you can complete these steps faster than you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."
I'm so excited about your upcoming visit. The
Disney100 Celebration is in full swing and there are two new nighttime spectaculars, festive eats and beautiful decorations around the resort. Also, as part of the celebration, you can enjoy
complimentary digital downloads of attraction photos during your visit. I made sure to take full advantage of this during my most recent visit.
Dan, I hope this is helpful and gets you one step closer to your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you think of other questions, please come back to visit us. Wishing you a magical visit!
Have a magical day,
Michelle
